"The Boogie Woogie Summit"
It was in the 1920’s somewhere in the South that Meade “Lux” Lewis, inspired by the strong rhythmic chugging of the steam train he was riding to work, created the Boogie-Woogie. Almost 100 years later you can experience the roots of Boogie on three special chartered steam trains with two coaches each. On a railway which is absolutely unique in the world (see picture / railway map) In each coach is a piano and together we’ll huff and puff and shake to the heavenly height of 1,780m! On top is a rich brunch with the “Lakeshakers” on stage with the most unusual background one can imagine. To get an idea just check out the pictures from last time or the TV spot from STV-1…!
Please come punctually to the departure times of the valley station of the Schafberg train!
- from 10:00 - Get together at the Schafberg valley station
- 10:30 - Departure Honky Tonk Steamtrain - a piano in each coach!
- ca 11:05 - Arrival Honky Tonk Steamtrain on top of the mountain
- ca 11:30 - Rich Brunch at the top-of-the-mountain-restaurant (boogie on stage!)
- 14:15 - Departure Honky Tonk Steamtrain back down, arrival in valley ca 15:00

Honky Tonk Steamtrain & Boogie-Brunch at the top of the mountain only at fair weather!
If weather is bad (rain or fog), the Boogie-Brunch takes place at the Scalaria Eventresort without steamtrain ride!
