"Jazz has always been entertainment and in every era of jazz, there were well-known entertainers". This is the credo of CHARLY & THE JIVEMATES. This band brings back times and memories of names such as Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra, Nat 'King' Cole and Ray Charles. With wit, nonchalance and a lot of drive, it delights the audience.

Behind the pseudonym CHARLY hides a high-caliber aristocrat, while lead singer, guitarist and saxophonist: His Highness Karl Friedrich Erbprinz von Hohenzollern with his court of excellent musicians. "Born To Boogie" with Blues in blue blood! What a perfect fit in our imperial city of Bad Ischl! Even his Majesty the Emperor Franz Joseph would have been shaking with us ;-)

After Charlie & the Jivemates' have tuned you in, you will be in the perfect mood this evening for an experience of a special kind: With his "Piano Concerto for all senses" JOJA WENDT presents not only some of his classics but also a new program. There is hardly anybody else who is capable to create so much fun, entertainment and breathtaking virtuosity with music delectation. Full of brilliant ideas, and of course in Joja Wendt's typical high-speed key-runs – but especially with a lot of fun!

You can especially look forward to the "big fun-session" wit all musicians of the festival – the big finale!!!
